Visiting the Mountain Monks

This day started with a lecture proposed by Frank, the focus was mainly aimed at negotiation skills and how to convince your project partners. After the lecture we were all introduced to a case study where we formed three groups. The aim was to simulate a real negotiation scenario between a project leader group and two project partner groups.

The session was really interesting and the learning outcome was great. However, I experienced that the negotiations with Pittsburghs expert in control systems (Vladimir) rather seemed to be harder than expected.

Later on that day, me and Max went up the hill to visit the Monk's living far into the Greek mountains, at least for my academic legs ;-) However, the Monk's seemed to be rather busy chasing the cats, so we were not able to sit down and have a chat at all...

My three reflections are:
- Negotiations are hard and demanding.
- Giving feedback to other is also helpful for your own project proposal.
- I will most probably never apply for a Monk position :-P

Here are some of the pictures collected from the Monastery.
