Scientific Project Creation & Management: First Day - Introduction

Apart from a brief introduction about the ancient monastery, the island of Lesbos and Greek habits, the Agenda for the next few days was discussed.
 
The team building and the ice breaker was carried out tackling the "marshmallow Problem".Thereby a tower should be build up, using spaghetti pasta, some tape and a piece of rope carrying a marshmallow. The group with the highest tower wins. As might be expected, the mechatronics lose.


Before lunch, we talked about Digital Comptetence/ Social Media; how important it is and how it can affect your work - in a positive or negative way. Each person creates, starting today, every day a new blog by adding some reflection points or insights from the days activities. At the end, the blog should represent in a short and compressed way the activities and progress during this week.
